Coastal Cruise Boat Trip

Step aboard Typhoon for a leisurely boat trip along the beautiful Cornish coast, taking in some of the best views and wildlife Cornwall has to offer. 

We offer relaxed sightseeing trips departing from Looe Harbour, heading out past Looe Island and along the rugged coastline towards Polperro, or Seaton and Downderry. It’s a lovely way to experience the sea, with blue waters, seabirds wheeling overhead, and often a few seals on Looe Island.

Looe is a working fishing port, full of character and charm, and there’s no better way to appreciate it than from the water. As we leave the harbour, we’ll pass the historical Banjo Pier and see the town rising up behind it. Out in Looe Bay, the coastline soon opens up — dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and stretches of golden sand that form part of the famous South West Coast Path.

We often pass Looe Island Nature Reserve, home to nesting seabirds, grey seals, and a wonderful variety of marine life. On calm days, we sometimes spot dolphins or porpoises feeding out in the bay, and gannets diving for fish further offshore. It’s peaceful, scenic, and a true taste of life on the Cornish coast.

Typhoon is a stable, comfortable vessel with plenty of seating and open deck space, perfect for photography or simply sitting back and soaking up the views. Every trip is weather and tide-dependent, and I’ll always choose the best route for conditions on the day.
