Custom Fishing Trip

If you’re planning a day’s fishing with family, friends or a club, you can book Typhoon for your own private trip and we’ll work together to design it just how you’d like. With more than forty years fishing from Looe, I know these waters well and can suggest the best spots depending on the time of year, weather and what you’re hoping to catch.

You can choose anything from a 4 to 8hr trip, focusing on mackerel and other species, ideal for families and beginners, to longer reef or conger trips, or even a shark fishing adventure further offshore. We can focus on a particular species, try a few different marks, or just enjoy a relaxed day fishing the reefs and rough ground off the Cornish coast. The beauty of a custom charter is that it’s your trip, your way.

Typhoon is a fast, comfortable and well-equipped vessel, licensed for up to eleven passengers. All the fishing tackle and bait can be provided, or you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. There’s a good-sized deck for fishing, a dinette inside to sit and have a brew, and even bunk space if anyone needs a rest on the longer days.

A private booking gives you the freedom to set your own times, fish at your own pace, and make the day exactly what you want it to be — whether that’s a full day chasing pollack and bass, or a relaxed afternoon trip followed by a pint in the harbour. I’ll always aim to put you on the fish and make sure everyone has a safe, enjoyable and memorable day out.
